P.J.

As a lifelong Motivational Speaker and a Transformational Life Coach, P.J. focuses on results, which has captured the attention of business leaders and individuals from around the world! He has had the rare privilege of presenting to, and working with, Fortune 500 companies, major universities, and some of the largest non-profit organizations in the world.

He has spent virtually his entire life living by Henry Ford’s philosophy, “If you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right.”

Diagnosed with a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy that was expected to take his life by 7, he was encouraged to experience life to the fullest and do anything and everything he wanted—and, as a result of that attitude—here he “stands” 40+ years later! P.J. is a living example of what creative persistence and letting go of limiting beliefs can accomplish!

Snow skiing, water skiing, indoor and outdoor skydiving, sailing, trapezing, ziplining, hiking, mountain climbing, aqua jetpacking, and the list goes on!

He’s a former wheelchair athlete, international traveler, amateur watercolourist, founder of two non-profit organizations and four disabled sports programs, a published author, 10th degree black belt, martial arts and women’s self-defense instructor, and a meditation teacher.

Additionally, P.J. has been inducted into the National Hall of Fame for People with Disabilities and was nominated to carry the Olympic Torch through Tucson in 2002.

The very nature of his disability causes his muscles and corresponding physical abilities to atrophy—sometimes profoundly overnight. This situation, combined with his zest for life, has allowed some real opportunities for him to learn about and embody transformation—and because of this, he has experienced and developed a deeper insight than most other speakers and coaches for guiding people through difficult times. This is the origin of his belief, quote, and current mindset:

“Change is Inevitable; Transformation, however, is a Choice!”

P.J. recognizes most people are victims of old programming, limiting beliefs, and their own mental chatter, or unintentional thinking. With the intention to free people from these internal resistance patterns, he utilizes a variety of techniques and modalities to support client and audience breakthroughs! NeuroLinguistic Programming, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, questions designed to create deep insight, and issue-releasing meditations—although, not his only practices—these form the foundation of P.J.’s transformational coaching.
